please understand if I don't understand what just happened,
For the first time (for me ) Seamonkey failed to open a web page.
I have a wireless account with  AT&T and monthly I get an email notice that my account is due. I click on the link and make a payment This month the page hung with a notice "Almost there. Please wait a moment" and then nothing. It just hung. This happened three days in a row and finally I contacted AT&T and asked for help. In the process the tech suggested i try a different browser.
I copied the link into Firefox and the page opened immediately.
Is there a way to fix this in Seamonkey?

No problem here using SeaMonkey 2.49.4 on Ubuntu Linux.

I don't have an account, but went to <https://www.att.com/> clicked the Account drop down, clicked "Sign in" and it opened this page <https://www.att.com/my/#/login>. I did see the message you quoted for fraction of a second while waiting for the Sign in page to load.

Try safe mode to see if an extension is causing a problem. Use Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled.

Trying <https://www.att.com/my/#/login> ...
I had the same problem that Chuck encoutered - the page just hung with the text "Almost there. Please wait a moment" and a running circle :-) My problem was caused by "AdBlock Plus" -  so I "disabled on att.com" then I reload the page ... and I did see the message for fraction of a second  (two times) while waiting for the Sign in page to load. and then the page goes further giving me a form to put my UserId and my Password. YEAH !
