tried SeaMonkey 2.49.5 RC2 with the following extensions *without*
problems.
I had the Add-Ons previously installed under 2.49.4
BetterPrivacy Mod 1.68m
ChatZilla 0.9.94, language pack was installed automaticly
DOM Inspector 2.0.17.2
Lightning 5.4
PrefBar 7.1.1
Quote Colors 0.3

Thanks a lot guys.
I'm not sure that says a lot. I have been using the 64-bit 2.49.4 -
also under Linux - for around a year now and see no reason why 2.49.5
should behave differently.
It is the Windows 64-bit version which could be "interesting".
