Hi all,
I often notice in SM (now 2.53 but it was the same with 2.49) that
some content is missing, usually the social sharing icons.
I can't find any ad-blocker or similar in my installation.
Eg. this page when viewed in Safari shows on the left side 5 icons
vertically aligned, while in SM there's nothing:

What can cause this behaviour?
Thank you!
I don't see the vertical social sharing icons in my Mozilla/5.0 (X11;
Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 SeaMonkey/2.49.4 on
Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS and I don't have any extensions installed.
However, they appeared when restarting in safe mode.
I restarted in production mode, went to Preferences > Privacy and
Security and determined it was the "Prevent tracking activities by
known sites" item being enabled that blocked those icons.
Thank you, I will try! But then why in Safari (where I have all the
privacy settings set to "on") I can see them?
I think SM should show an alert when it hides important part of a
website (just like it does fot the pop-ups).
What do you guys think about this?
I don't think tracking is important data and why I have that preference
enabled.
YMMV
