For the first time I have encountered a problem with a website that can
only be resolved by using another browser. It appears that Pepco has
made recent changes that make it unusable with 2.49.5 here. I was able
to use it with the current FireFox, so I am hopeful that the next
release will fix this one.
What is the problem? Can't login?
This link loads fine foe me in SM 2.49.5 on Linux. Not a customer so
cant' go any further.
I have the 3 built in Lightning, ChatZilla and DOM Inspector extensions
installed and added the Provider for Google Calendar extension.
You did test in safe mode before posting?
I can log in, the problem is that something goes wacky thereafter.
Until yesterday there was no problem, but then instead of getting a
proper display I see what appear to be portions of scripting of some
sort as opposed to their values. I had thought they might have been
having server problems of some sort and perhaps their back end was not
returning the data requested, but it continues today. This lead me to
try out other browsers, and I found that the current FireFox displays it
fine.
What about changing user agent to like Firefox? Does that work? If not,
then it looks like the web site doesn't support old web browsers like
SeaMonkey, Firefox v52 (could try that too), etc.
I use PrefBar to spoof as FireFox 52, which is of course the basis for
2.49.5 here. I get complaints from other websites about upgrading, but
this is the first one I have seen incorrect behavior with. I could try
some other settings, but I guess I can live with using the current
Firefox with this one until a later release is available.

I found the "Site-specific UA -- is it working?" thread from around a
week ago very useful for this kind of problem.
