As I don't actively use it I can't say if this affects the core
functionality or if earlier versions have the same problem with SM-2.49.5.

This seems to be wrong, ever since someone added a JS version of HTML
Tidy to the extension.
Installs, Preferences Dialog a bit iffy, at least the Original HTML tab
in View>Page Source>Clean up page... fails to populate.
Ideally it would be integrated into Composer as well.
You could use the online w3.org validator instead.
