Recently, due to a computer crash, I was forced to “upgrade” from Windows XP to Windows 10. I installed Netscape 7.02 with the express purpose of using the WSYWIG composer. It worked one time but now “locks up” and gets a Not Responding error. I downloaded SeaMonkey 2.49.5 as well as KomPozer 7.10 but they both do the same thing. Do the above programs work with Windows 10 or am I doing something wrong? If those programs are not compatible with Windows 10 can anyone recommend a WSYWIG HTML editor similar to Netscape / SeaMonkey / KomPozer that is?

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!

I do not believe the problem is with the browsers as I am still running Netscape 2.49 composer along with SeaMonkey 2.29.5 without a problem.

I would suggest that in Windows you go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer and find out why the programs are hanging.

That should have said SeaMonkey 2.49.4. Case of fumble fingers.

Hmm! I was more interested in your "running Netscape 2.49 composer"!! Was there such an edition?? ;-P

Finger Fumbled again, should be 4.79. I use it because it generates plain old HTML format which will run on most anything and can be easily modified / updated if needed using a more current HTML editor.
