How many bookarks do you have? Any old add-ons managing bookmarks? The bookmarks are now in the database places.sqlite. If you delete it as lee suggested the last backup should be restored during startup. Please close SeaMonkey before deleting the file and make sure you have a full profile backup in case something goes wrong.
