Didn't work for me either. Just got off chat with Netflix. They only support Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Opera. Edge works for me so they recommend that. Not sure if SM can be spoofed to work or not.

My suspicion is that Netflix simply doesn't want to bother with Seamonkey, not that there's an underlying problem with capabilities. Thus, I suggest spoofing. If you don't have PrefBar to do spoofing on the fly, what you may want to do to go to about:config and do a prefs.js entry to show the older version for just Netflix:

general.useragent.override.netflix.com Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 SeaMonkey/2.49.5

Or you could use the same setting and simply spoof a current version of Firefox:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:73.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/73.0

If they're complaining about Seamonkey, chances are pretty good that they're also throwing errors for accesses from PaleMoon and Waterfox.
