If are using Windows and you install in the default location, x32 installs in [C:\Program Files (x86)] and x64 installs in ["C:\Program Files"]. In going from x32 to x64 you will have SeaMonkey twice and there will be conflicts. For many years, however, I have been installing SeaMonkey in a non-default location that is on a drive that is NOT C. When I updated from x32 to x64, I still installed in that location. In my case, not uninstalling the older version was not necessary. By the way, I consider my profiles to be data. I have them on a drive that is neither C nor the drive where SeaMonkey is installed. All this has been my configuration since at least 2014. -- David E. Ross <http://www.rossde.com/> President Trump removed Rick Bright from heading the government's development of a vaccine against the COVID-19 virus. The reason was that Bright would not endorse Trump's assertion that hydroxychloroquine might cure COVID-19. Is it possible that Trump was motivated by his and his family's investments in a major producer of hydroxychloroquine? _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
