I have migrated all of my profile files from another 2.53.2 SM
installation, on another machine, onto 2.53.2 on this computer in order
to retain my bookmarks, saved passwords etc. That profile on that other
machine originated from an older 2.49 installation and has been migrated
forward from there.
The older 2.49 installation and its profile had a working Lightning
configuration.
I tried copying individual files of Bookmarks etc from a backup of the
2.49 profile but SMonkey ignored the copies. I'm aware that the schema
of the profile has been revised in 2.53.2.
I notice that on a new empty profile in 2.53.2 the Events and Tasks menu
is available in Mail and the Lightning extension shows as installed. On
the migrated profile Events and Tasks is missing and the Lightning
extension is missing. I've tried installing Lightning but get an error
report when I start it. Is there a fix I can apply to enable Lightning
in my migrated profile?
I notice in the about:config on this computer I can see the calendar
settings, such as the URL of my CalDAV server. Those settings will have
originated in the 2.49 profile that this profile is derived from. Is
there a setting I can change to re-enable the calendar function?
Failing if someone could point me to an up to date list of the various
files in a 2.53.2 profile so that I'll know exactly which files to copy
in order to migrate my Bookmarks etc onto an otherwise clean profile
that has Lightning working.
Is there a way to trigger the conversion of a 2.49 profile to the 2.53.2
profile?
