Do you sign out of the email account when shutting down SeaMonkey?
Then you probably will need to go through the rigamarole every time.
I haven't decided yet whether or not I'm going to keep my AOL account
in Thunderbird. I only added it to see what the process involved.
Could be why I removed it from two of my Thunderbird's. It should have
been just checking the account for mail, but kept getting prompted to
sign-in.
In the 23 years that I have used Netscape, then the Mozilla Suite and
now SeaMonkey, when I exit(ed) the suite each time: File / Quit.
I have never used any of these (nor Thunderbird) to 'sign out' of any
account.
The e-mail AOL/Yahoo sent, /really isn't worded correctly/.
Yes, bad choice of words.
What I meant was, do they save the passwords and don't have to enter
them to receive email or send mail.
Not sure what was going on with my AOL account. Doesn't get any mail and
never used. Just wanted to add it as an IMAP account for support purposes.
