Is there some way to get the current version of Skype to run with Win
7-Pro systems and SeaMonkey v.2.53 without having a Microsoft account?
I have found it all but impossible to find a tutorial telling one how
to proceed. Pointers to an appropriate source of information will be
most appreciated.
Note sure what the problem is.
I have exactly all you state, I have SM2.53, skype and no MS account. My
skype account is legacy from before MS purchased them however.
With SM you download the program here
https://www.skype.com/en/get-skype/
Then install it. If you have a skype account then enter it and all will
work fine. If you do not already have a skype account, then yes you are
SOL as you must create a MS account to use skype but SM is fine. An old
pre-MS account still works.
Install it so it works in SeaMonkey or as a separate application?
Hawker wants to use the browser version.
"Try Skype in your browser
No installations needed."
Scroll down the page.
