1. On the menu bar, select [Edit > Preferences]. 2. On the left side of the Preferences window, select [Appearance > Content]. 3. Under Scrolling on the Content pane, select the checkbox for "Use smooth scrolling" to insert a checkmark there. 4. Select the OK button.
