I get it Geko 60 is over 2 year outdated, but it blows me away that a 2 year old browsers engine is pretty much unusable in today's fast moving world. One would think high use websites would be less dependent on new changes. Sounds like SM is not going to ever catch up I guess. I'm about to over half my web experience works on FF but not SM these days. This reminds me of the Netscape 4.x days when I hung onto Netscape (was it 4.8?) Way longer than I should have.
Yeah, it's frustrating. Web developers and companies just don't want spend the resources in supporting old web sites. :(
I think if I could figure out the side bar and how to easier do selective cookie blocking and on blocking on FF I would move. The anti tracking stuff and mostly improved privacy controls there are really nice. A few plug ins I use here are not available there though so that is an issue. I'll miss Image Zoom for the biggest loss and I prefer Seamonkeys way to handle inline search.
For me, I prefer SM's GUI design since I have been using it since Netscape's days. I don't like Firefox, IE, Chrome, etc.'s GUI designs. :(
