I don't think cookies are the problem. Nor is it likely that i.ebayimg.com is being blocked by Mozilla's attack/phishing blocklists.

As previously suggested, OP needs to test with a new profile, for which instructions ought to be all over the Web but this <http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_manager> is the best SM-oriented page I could see.
