Since last summer ( july 2020 ) some Spanish  websites have been changed and are not compatible with SM. The user interface , once logged in , of eldiario.es doesn't work. And some features of the website of bancosantander.es neither.

I guess because they implement new html features supported by the newest release of Firefox.

SeaMonkey 2.53.x originally based on Gecko 56 is in our gitlab comm-release
repo.
We plan to release SeaMonkey 2.53.7 beta 1 in February.
The release is tracked in bug 1689877.
The release notes and website update are tracked in bug 1689878.
The release is still behind schedule because of some last minute
problems but building will begin shortly.

ES6 modules support is almost ready and can be enabled manually.
But some minor issues remain and so we decided to turn it off for 2.53.7.
...
WebExtentions dictionary support is being worked on but no ETA.
Please use the new Calendar component for reporting and tracking respective
bugs!
We are looking into adding support for Custom Elements and Shadow DOM in a
later release. No ETA yet. This is or will also be supported in 2.57.
