[SUPPORT] script to export specific fields

I'm trying to create a script that will export just the record numbers of a
found set.  I see that there's an "export" script, but am unclear about how
to specify which fields should be included.  I'd rather not have the users
have to deal with the export dialog screen.  Any ideas?
