I am sorry, to ask this question again, but i still didn't get, why
Freenet should not be able to work behind a Firewall that is under my
control ??
I can open the required ports.
And i can't believe, that (as someone on this list said some time
ago) Freenet needs EVERY Port for incoming Connections ... then the server
should listen on ALL Ports, which is definately no the case as a nmap-scan
showed.
I tried to open the port configured in the config file for listening on my
firewall ...
Then i was able to browse the freenet Web (fproxy) ... but when i tried to
request a key via command-line i alway got "the request failed
gracefully" or any tomeout error.
???
I am a Sysadmin and support firewalls for several years now and i think i
know something about IP-Networks, but i really don't understand what is
happening here ??

I have a official IP for my Server (DNAT/SNAT) and my Firewall logs say,
that there ist nothing blocked.

Pleas help ... i really want to support freenet as i think it is a great
thing .. i have a 10 Gig-Harddisk left and a leased-line Flatrate .. so
should be perfect conditions.

Thanx

Marcus
