I've tried those 2 adresses, but none of them is working.
I forgot in the previous mail to mention that I'm behind a firewall. is this a problem?

hi
first of all you should try to connect http://localhost:8081 or http://127.0.0.1:8081/ better than just http://localhost

Hi
I've installed Freenet, but it doesn't work at all.
I've downloaded and tested the last version (release 0.3.8.1), and I tried it under windows 98SE. My computer is a PC with an intel celeron 433, 128Mo.
When launching the software, an internet explorer page opens and try to connect to http://localhost:/ , which can't be found. Nothing happens then.
I'm stuck here. Could you help me please to find out from the the problem is coming? Thanx
