like many others who've opted for cable, i operate behind a firewall...and that seems to limit my machine's usability as a freenet node...i've found that i can pull items from freenet, but my logs show no activity except my own, and i assume that's because of my firewall... i could throw a hub in front of the firewall, and set up an old 486 to run an unprotected freenet node, but that seems a bit wasteful...could someone point me toward info on setting up freenet behind my firewall without putting my system at greater risk??... frank _______________________________________________ Support mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.freenetproject.org/mailman/listinfo/support
