Just wondering, I run a firewall on my Linux box (iptables rules I
designed
myself) which blocks new incoming connections and also certain outgoing
connections. I don't really need to block outgoing connections, I just
like
to have some control over which ports my client machines can and cannot
use to access the net.

The question is, can I get freenet to use one port number instead of
sporadically
using multiple ports? I don't want to run a server, just a transient
client,
so incoming connections that are part of one of my requests are no
problem,
only outgoing connects.

I have heard a bit about some http tunneling code that was (going to
be?) written
for freenet, but I have no idea where to find it or how to use it. It's
not
really that important to me (I can just allow all outgoing connects
through
my firewall), but it might be of interest to others who have to go
through
firewalls they have no control over (such as their ISP's.)

Any ideas? Thanks alot. P.S. Freenet is the best thing since sliced
bread,
good work!
