Hi,
- default directory is e.g. c:\freenet or d:\freenet
- at least install in a clean directory !
- what do you mean with accessing freenet from desktop ? If you start
Freent there is a rabbit-Icon in your
Tray-Bar . with a Doubleclick you start your default Browser (I see
Netscape )
with http://localhost:8081/ - this is fproxy
- what version is your Netscape-Browser ?
- have you tried with Internet Explorer ?
- please use the new setup: "Freenet_setup0.3.9.1-1.exe"
- If you want to request data you must know ( and type in ) an exact key,
there is no search machine.
- to search for keys go to an keyindex e.g. www.freegle.com
hope this helps you
M.
