I'm in a similar situation. I'm using the seed nodes from http://www.freenet.org/seed.ref . I'm not sure that this is the correct updated file. I can't get the above either, I either get browser timeouts (even when set very high > 2mins) or the Network Error (change HTL) fproxy screen. Running Linux: $uname -a && kaffe -version Linux debian 2.4.9 #3 Tue Oct 9 14:24:20 GMT 2001 i686 unknown Kaffe Virtual Machine Copyright (c) 1996-2000 Transvirtual Technologies, Inc. All rights reserved Engine: Just-in-time v3 Version: 1.0.6 Java Version: 1.1 Freenet is last nights pre-compiled snapshot (freenet-08102001). I'm on a godawfull dial-up connection and it is set as a transient node, with fairly long connect times +45 mins. No restrictive firewall rules with regards of Freenet either. Kaffe was built from a recent snapshot and has not proven problematic in regards of freenet 3 or 4. Version 3 works fine and I can access most sites very well and can insert just fine. Nothing out of the ordinary in the log files (warnings when my browser is set to a low timeout, that's all). - John _______________________________________________ Support mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.freenetproject.org/mailman/listinfo/support
