Open an MS-DOS prompt. Then use DOS commands (CD for change directory, etc.) to navigate to the Freenet directory. Usually this will be: c: cd myprog~1 cd freenet Once you're in that directory, you can use any sort of file viewing or editing program. The most basic one is "more", which you can use in this way: more <myown.ref (DOS's more command cannot open files by name; they have to be piped in, hence the less-than sign.) If you prefer a more powerful environment, then you can use an editor: edit myown.ref Or you can download any sort of editor or viewer you wish to use. DOS doesn't come with anything very good. -- Greg Wooledge | "Truth belongs to everybody." [EMAIL PROTECTED] | - The Red Hot Chili Peppers http://wooledge.org/~greg/ |
