I wish people, in general, would stop complaining. It doesn't do any
goo=
d.=20 The developers are trying hard. The developers don't "owe" you anything -= if=20 it doesn't work, then it's really not a big deal. You didn't pay for it,= you=20 don't have a right to complain when it doesn't work. It's not a finished= =20 project. Pick up a Java book and learn how to help out if it's such a bi= g=20 deal to you. --=20 Jay If its no big deal why so sensitive ? , and whats with all the =20s ? , I have all the respect due to people that try to develope something like this from nothing , but that doesnt mean I cant say it as I see it , just look on this board and you will see that folk are asking for help on all the "simple" things , does that make them traitors to the cause , of course not , if this idea cant stand up to criticism ( and I know it can ) then it has no place on the internet ( or outside of it ) , Do you do anything to forward the cause ? , I am learning computing at nightschool ( the oldies class ) if I could learn Java I would , but I think thats best left to those that have a natural affinity to the subject , it would take me far too long to catch up to those already working on this project . I am sorry if I hit a raw nerve , and maybe I
shouldnt have said some of the things I did , but I had just spent 5 hours
trying to get past the Freedom Engine , most of that time was spent waiting for
links to turn up no good , so you see I was a little punch drunk , but can you
honestly say ( hand on heart ) that you dont get mad at the thing when you have
spent ages waiting only to get the Network error page ? , people wont stay
around to help if they go through that night after night , and from what I
gather this is a good period in the life of Freenet .
