I don't have any unused allocated memory left, but I'm pretty sure I've
still got lots of physical memory that could be used. It would be nice
to get the JVM to increase the amount of memory it allocates to Fred. Is
the memory allocation performed once for the entire session, or does the
JVM change the amount of memory? Either way, how can I get it
significantly increased?

I also have some questions about the configuration file.

rtMaxRefs: how high is too high?

rtMaxNodes: how many nodes is too many?

messageStoreSize: how many messages is it reasonable to wait for?

maxNodeConnections: the more the merrier?

fproxy.params.splitFileThreads: I say more. How many is too many?

I assume that the limiting factor for all of these is bandwidth. Does
someone somewhere have an explanation of how to optimize these values
for one's connection?
