But when you get done (for Frost) I suggest opening freenet with the right click menu in your tray (lower right) to be sure it is active and not "just running." Then click on your icon for Frost. Explore the map in left pane. Click on any item at end of branches and examine all that is in the right pane. Try clicking on one item at a time (give more time that internet normally requires to react) and see what has happened. IF nothing is evident try another item. Slowly you will be come acquainted with it. If you read a URL in a message, I find it best to highlight, copy and then paste into the window on the freenet screen (or almost as successful in the usual browser entry field). Be very patient in some cases, moderately so in some others. To down load a file from frost, you do not seem to need to enter the keys although they will appear in right pane. Just highlight the name of the item of interest and then click on the arrow pointing downward in horizontal bar running across the right pane. The arrow should change color (orange+yellow) when it is active. Generally just do a lot of trial and error once you get a couple of things done successful as one success usually means the system is all working (but something may just not work because they really don't work).
