yes, try deleting your .conf file (or moving it to a different name),
and letting the start scripts regenerate it; what happens to many
people is that they don't get a real config file because java isn't
working when they first run the start scripts, but the start scripts
do'nt go to config mode again because there's a .conf file, so you get
stuck with a jooky little .conf file.

If this doesn't work, run your node with a -config parameter, and
it'll rewrite the .conf file.
