I bet your ipAddress in freenet.ini or freenet.conf starts with a %. Remove the % and try again. Same for your listenPort. Let me know if you still have a problem.

Do I need a dynamic DNS service? What is that? How can I get one? I am sorry to be so ignorant but there is no other way to learn, isn't there?
