FWIW this can indicate a computer that is too busy to get to freenet. I mean,
I'm not sure if it should happen then but for me it inevitably happens when
my machine is getting hammered from other processes - for example when the
"locate" data base gets updated at 3:00am, or when other processes are
putting the machine under stress, or when somebody finally pushes my memory
past the limits of physical RAM and kernel decides to start swapping stuff
out.

Those never last long.

I've also seen it start doing it for no external reason, and those usually
persist until I cycle freenet by shuttting it down and starting it back up
again. That always fixes it . . . I ahve not seen this happen at all since
5039 though.

| Sadly it is. We don't know why. But maybe something to do with
| threading.

| If the cache is less than 90% full, it should not forget stuff. However,
| were these requests for freesites? Were they around 0:00 GMT? A lot of
| freesites are 'date based redirect', which means they get forgotten at
| midnight - a new edition must be published each day.
