I ask for an understandable description on how to configure my freenet node.
There are some documents out there, but none is really a guide in my sense.
Sort of:
Screenshots and an explanation of all possible settings.
What they mean.
What to do to reach what aim.
Background of functionality.
A “freenet for dummies” if you want.
Further:
On the gateway web pages I get a flood of technical parameters and node statistics.
This is basically positive.
But where is the explanation what they mean and how to use them ?
A user needs to understand:
There is a problem. I look to my technical data.
I find the cause and solve or mitigate the problem.
But for me it is a lot of chinese.
I cannot deploy them to solve problems without understanding.
To learn I need documents with didactic value.
