in your case, since you 'unzipped' the tar to your Applications/Utilities folder, you'll need to "cd Applications/Utilities" instead (or whatever the path to your Applications/Utilities folder is ... I would imagine you will find it easier to just follow the above instructions so that everything goes smoothly) If you do the above it should all be pretty simple.
