It was unhelpful. Look: - Freenet's performance sucks a lot worse when the node is first created. - You tell a newbie that freenet sucks - He will assume that freenet's suckish performance is what he sees now, and of course he will uninstall it. - If you have an @freenetproject.org address, this advice is going to be a lot more credible.
