On your PATH. Fix your .bashrc to point to java...

JAVA_HOME=/opt/j2sdk1.4.1 (or wherever you put it)
PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$JAVA_HOME/jre/bin:$PATH

And make sure your .bash_profile includes it.
