If you got the activelinks on the gateway page to load, then it sounds
all right to me.  What I would suggest is to load up all of the pages
in tabs and let it run.  Just leave it be for a while.  Maybe go to
work with it running.  Go to bed.  Something like that.  It'll grind
away trying to find it, and then when it can't it'll pause for a bit,
take a breather, and then grind again.  Rinse.  Repeat.  That's the
best way, I think.  Another possibility is to run Frost.  Turn on
Freenet, turn on Frost, tell Frost to update all boards, and then walk
away for a long while.  Frost, when running, is constantly checking
for new messages, and so aids in integrating your node into the
network.

Do one of those.  There's lots of stuff in the Freenet network.  You
just gotta get it to load, and it will after a while.
