hi!

i haven't used freenet for a week, and then not even the "Web Interface"
loaded. i restarted freenet, tryed again, nothing again. i stopped
reseeded started. Now the Web Interface is working but not the other
nodes. i get icon for the Freedom Engine and Content of Evil. does that
mean that i have to wait again for 24 hours to be re-integrated?

also: does reseeding deletes my datastore? this is my /var/freenet/store"
directory, right? i set the limit to 5GB but it is just some 600k big. :o

Hi,

No reseeding does *not* delete the datastore, it only deletes the seednodes.ref file (or the file that you've specified in the freenet.conf). If you haven't ran the freenet for only a week you might not want to reseed.

Also, you might want to do this in the freenet.conf file (which is in the directory to which you've installed your freenet) there is a line:
doAnnounce=no
change it to
doAnnounce=yes
make suret hat there is no '%' in the beginnning of the line

Do not worry about the size of the datastore too much (but yours is too small), i've ran the freenet for more than a year, and it's around 40 gigs now.

Also, (just want to check something), after you do the announce thing, let your node run for an hour or so, and then go to
http://localhost:8888/servlet/nodeinfo/networking/ocm
and see if you are getting incomming connections, with your datastore this small it might be that you are not connected to anybody.
