I have attempted to ask questions on the irc channel, so here are some
obvious things that were eliminated:
I did try to restart the node
I did try more than one freesite
I did install 0,7 in the different directory to 0,5
I am not trying 0,7 key on the 0,5 node
I am running non-windows os, thus 0,7 is not running as a service
I really hope that you'll tell me that i'm an idiot and just missed
something very simple... q;-)

Another thing is that i can't insert anything either. Inserts just sit
there indefinitely.
Something corrupted lsnodes... probably nothing to do with 0,7 apart from being
chronologically close. Thanks to all who tried to help. q;-)
