1. Was the node running at the time you tried it (you can check that with 
./run.sh status)
2. Is your node running on the local machine? If not you need to substitute 
'127.0.0.1' with the IP of the machine where it is running?
2.1. If the node is running on the local machine, check where it is binding to 
(you can see that in freenet.ini, for example "fproxy.bindTo=127.0.0.1")
3. Is the node installed on the port 8888? (you can check that in the 
freenet.ini file, it will be something like "fproxy.port=8888")
