I have tried that but it didn't help. My node isn't very busy. I just installed
it
and I haven't downloaded or uploaded anything yet. There are 14
connections at most.

But I have found another setting in freenet.ini, node.load.threadLimit.
It was set to 200. I changed it to 100 and now the maximum RAM usage seems
to be about 420MB. "ps ms" shows between 110 and 130 threads. (Why not
100 or less?)

What is the minimum value for threadLimit? 70 seems to work, but can I
safely set it to even lower values? At 70 memory usage is still around 400MB
and seems to be growing. I am afraid the program will crash again soon.
