This is strange, but I ran a scan which shows that the installer 'Freenetinstaller-1261', which I dowloaded from freenetproject.org a couple of days ago, is infected with a trojan, labeled Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Geral.jjl!A2

What's your advice?

Well, I would first verify if this is really true, _using another AV program_, very often they play false alert game. I once had to open on xp pro (installed parallely on my iMac) the exe of a tiny app to use on mac, and it sounded like an atom bomb was ready to explode... so I quitted xp and had a thought… I finally decided to try it anyway, if the worst I would just have had to spend 15 mn reinstalling xp… So, I shut the AV app and opened the exe… went allright, no problem, and so, I slided the opened app on my mac's desktop and used it. Coming back then to XP, I started again the
AV, and nothing unnatural or surnatural happened, everything fine.
