I think it's normal for the node to use a lot of CPU for a minute or so
at the beginning -- how long does your 100% cpu usage last? How fast is
your CPU?

You can find out what it's doing by looking at the bottom of your
wrapper.log file. Maybe it's resizing your datastore, or doing
something with it. Do you know how big it is?
