You wrote in the previous request message that DynDNS is not really necessary but can help. I usually have Freenet 0.5 on for about 12 hours at night then turn it off for a day or two, next time I connect I have a different IP. I've been using DynDNS, to keep the same address so nodes recognize me between sessions.
I though that if I don't use DynDNS it would seem like I'm a newbie and therefore would have to wait another 72 hours to get freenet going good again. Is this correct? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: <https://emu.freenetproject.org/pipermail/support/attachments/20060804/a003dc6b/attachment.html>
