Update instructions are in the FAQ and in the manuals for upgrade
from 1.00 to 1.02, and from 1.02 to 1.03. There isn't much difference
between 1.02 and 1.03, so I would use the procedure to upgrade from
version 1.00. In short, the procedure is to import the data from each
file of the ebase file set to the corresponding file in the new
version. You also need to update the auto-enter index in the serial
number field in some of the files. You'll find details on doing that
in the FileMaker user manual.

FileMaker expects files with the suffix .fp5 only. When you select
the File>Open menu item, you get the FindFile dialog box. Select file
type All files to get it to look at the ebase files, all of which
have the suffix 1.0x.
