Thanks for the reply. The first part of your email is unclear. Are you saying that 
you've tried all options for remote access to ebase? Does that include
PCAnywhere & Windows 2000 Server Terminal Services (W2kSTS)?

I was told that W2kSTS works like PCAnywhere in that no data other than screenshots, 
keyboard strokes and mouse moves are transmitted. Is that correct? If it
is, it seems like it shouldn't matter how may records there are. I was also told that 
W2kSTS compresses the outgoing screen data so that it is even faster than
PCAnywhere.

You say that FMPro does not support terminal services. Does this mean if I connect to 
a W2kServer under Terminal Services, I cannot then crank up FM & ebase? Do
I need FMPro Server version in order to do this? Anything you can share on this would 
be very helpful.
