I'm answering this, partly because I know the answers and partly out
of the need to do some "payback" after getting so much help from
others.

First, use the TOOLS Find All button on the home screen.

You need to go to ADMIN screen 2 and choose "Use Setup Wizard." In
the ebase Administrators Manual, this is one of the basic
instructions for getting started. It will take you to a WIZARD that
will walk you through several screens of basic set up information.
The third screen is named Telephone and Email Data. At the bottom of
that screen, it permits you to set the maximum number of emails and
Fax's and it also asks you to choose a To: address for batch emails
(we use [EMAIL PROTECTED]).

Once you have your entire list selected, you then go to the OUTPUT
tab and select email. Chapter 19 of the Users Manual describes how to
compose and email. If you work through the process (there's a WIZARD
here too) and choose to send the messages in a batch, ebase generates
a list of email addresses that you can paste into the bcc: field in
the outgoing message.
