Importing is a two-step process, the first into a temporary file so 
you get a chance to review the data and check for dupes before the 
data is transferred into the main file set. During this step, you can 
use one of the user fields to park this information. Keep track of 
what information is put in which user fields. Then when moving to the 
main file you'll be able to map these user fields to the fields in 
the main file.
