Rebekah,
When you do a find in the email field, surround the email address you enter
with quotes. For example, to find my name in your database, find
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" in the email field.
The quotes tell FileMaker to look for exact text. Otherwise, it does not
know how to interpret the @ symbol.
