There are, I'm sure, alot of options for this, but here's one that will
let you begin to get familiar with FMP and layouts.
First, before messing with this, make a new backup of your database.
Then:
One way to do it would be to go to one of the reports under outputs that
has all but the email address info that you need, DUPLICATE THAT LAYOUT
(under Layout mode, go to Mode->Duplicate Layout), then delete a field
in the duplicate layout to make room for the email address field. I
just did this using the Phone List layout and replaced the phone number
fields with the email fields.
Place the email field(s) on this new layout, change the header for the
email column to read "Email," and give the layout a name like "Email
List" (to do this, once you've duplicated and modified the layout, click
on Mode->Layout Setup, type in a new name in the Layout Name space, and
select Include in Layouts Menu (which will make it available in the
Layouts menu above the rolodex). One word of caution, don't add alot of
custom layouts to the Layouts menu or it will get unweildy.
Now, go to Home, create a found set you want to print, then click on the
Layouts menu, select Email List from the menu, then Print (Ctrl-P).
Also, the Phone List Layout has a Print button on it which let's you
print using a button. I used this layout and added a button which
performs the HOME script, so that when I'm done I just hit the Home
button and I go back Home. Try this but make a backup copy of your
database first.
