Yes.

If you did delete the folder, an ordinary "Save a Clone" script step that
pointed to a specific directory should have defaulted to the Filemaker Pro
folder or the last directory where a file was created/imported/exported and
you should have gotten a bunch of clones there, unless stuff with the same
name is already there.

So it's possible it's trying to save in the same directory as the live
version of ebase, which would generate that kind of error.

Try creating a new clones folder, then run again.  If that doesn't work,
1. check free disk space
2. check to see that your trash/recycling bin is empty (on macs I've had
Filemaker interact with items in the trash)
