That's not a file I would expect to find anywhere. You're not clear 
about where or how that message appears. During the startup sequence? 
Later? Do you have any more clues about where that shows up?

My expectation is that somewhere in the upgrade process a link 
(script, calculation or relationship) got misdirected. If you can 
Cancel from that dialog and get ebase running, you'll be able to 
review the links and see where you find <file missing> or <field 
missing> instead of a valid reference. Then you can open a new or 
archived copy of ebase and ferret out what that link should be and 
fix it.
